Huntington Library
I just returned from the gardens at the Huntington Library. I met a school group there, and what lovely girls they were! I shared my life history (Uninteresting though it may be), and answered a few questions. I then bestowed the ladies with Certificates of Graduation from The Jane Austen and Charles Dickens Literary Academy (Mr. Dickens was unable to be there, much to my disappointment), and they would not be pleased until I had provided each of them with an autograph for their books.
Next, we sat for some sort of instant portraits. It is a new invention, I gather. The grounds were so beautiful, I found myself wishing for Cassandra. She, I know, would be delighted with them. Then we should have had some real portraits!
